You Tube Downloader in Linux

Tired of slow downloading speed for you tube in Windows? Use Linux!!! Install gvdown from

http://linux.wareseeker.com/free-gvdown-0.6.5.

Its written in Python

Easy to install & use. AFter installation, open terminal & type gvdown or select from Applications->Internet->GVDOWN-VideoDownloader. I prefer opning from terminal because if it gets stuck in between, the message will be displayed in Terminal.

    You can also use youtube downloader.
    It is very easy to install and work upon.
    To install :
    # sudo apt-get install youtube-dl

    To download simply pass the url link of the youtube video.
    # youtube-dl valid_link
