		<description>I also have the same version of openssl and I did not remove that, here version shows the preferred or later version so you can proceed with OpenSSL 0.9.8g no problem, probably you will have to install &quot;libssl-dev&quot; by apt-get install libssl-dev to get development headers &amp; libraries for OpenSSL.
*It will be better to run autogen.sh to check for the presence and right version of some of the required components.</description>

		<description>I have latest version of OpenSSL [ OpenSSL 0.9.8g ] , when i try to remove it from synaptic package manager , Lot of packages are also depended on it .i can not remove new version. any other solution for this problem.</description>
